Lateral Move Opportunities

Lateral Move Program

Our Corps has always thrived on adaptability and the relentless pursuit of excellence. As you contemplate your career path within the Marine Corps, consider the opportunities presented by lateral moving to another Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS). This is a chance to not only broaden your skillset but also contribute to our Corps’ mission in new and impactful ways. Talent Management 2030 provides us with a roadmap for optimizing our individual and collective potential. Embracing lateral moves is a key component of this strategy, as it allows us to leverage the diverse talents within our ranks and build a more agile, versatile, and resilient force. By exploring new PMOS options, you not only invest in your own personal and professional growth but also strengthen our Corps by ensuring that the right Marine is in the right place at the right time. Remember, our strength lies in our adaptability and our ability to embrace change. The Corps challenges each of you to consider the possibilities and be part of shaping the future of our beloved Marine Corps through lateral moves, and most importantly, by Staying Marine!!

"BY EXPLORING NEW PMOS OPTIONS...YOU STRENGTHEN OUR CORPS."
