ECP PROGRAM

ECP allows qualified enlisted Marines in the Regular Marine Corps and in the AR Program to apply for assignment to OCS and subsequent appointment as an unrestricted commissioned officer.

Basic Eligibility Requirements:
• Active duty or Active Reserve (AR) Status
• E-3 or above
• (1) year time in service
• (1) year left on contract
• Bachelor’s Degree
• US Citizen
• Between 20-35 years old

One of the following test scores:
• Min. AFQT of 74
• Min. SAT of 1000 (Math and critical reading only)
• Min. ACT composite score of 22

MECEP PROGRAM

MECEP allows qualified enlisted Marines in the regular Marine Corps to apply for assignment to OCS, obtain a baccalaureate degree through a Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) affiliated college or university, and obtain a commission in the Marine Corps.

Basic Eligibility Requirements:
• Active duty or Active Reserve (AR) Status
• E-4 or above
• (3) years time in service
• (1) year left on contract
• Minimum (12) or more college credits with at least (3) math or science credits and (3) english credits earned
• US Citizen
• Between 20-35 years old

One of the following test scores:
• Min. AFQT of 74
• Min. SAT of 1000 (Math and critical reading only)
• Min. ACT composite score of 22

MCP-R PROGRAM

MCP-R allows qualified enlisted Marines in the Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR) to apply for assignment to OCS and subsequent appointment as an unrestricted commissioned officer in the SMCR, other than AR.

Basic Eligibility Requirements:
• SMCR, IRR, or AR Status
• E-4 or above
• (1) year time in service
• (1) year left on contract
• Bachelor’s Degree
• US Citizen
• Between 20-35 years old

One of the following test scores:
• Min. AFQT of 74
• Min. SAT of 1000 (Math and critical reading only)
• Min. ACT composite score of 22

R-ECP PROGRAM

R-ECP allows qualified members of the SMCR to apply for assignment to OCS and subsequent appointment to unrestricted commissioned officer grade in the SMCR, other than AR.

Basic Eligibility Requirements:
• SMCR, IRR, or AR Status
• E-4 or above
• (1) year time in service
• (1) year left on contract
• Associate Degree or 75 credits
• US Citizen
• Between 20-35 years old

One of the following test scores:
• Min. AFQT of 74
• Min. SAT of 1000 (Math and critical reading only)
• Min. ACT composite score of 22

WARRANT OFFICER

Marines must be technically and professionally qualified to serve in one of the below-listed MOS(s):

0160, 0170, 0205, 0210, 0430, 0620, 0630, 0640, 0670, 0803, 1120,1310, 1390, 1710, 1720, 2110, 2120, 2125, 2305, 2340, 2602, 2805, 3010, 3102, 3302, 3402, 3408, 3510, 4130, 4430, 4503, 5502, 5702, 5804, 5805, 5910, 5950, 5970, 6004, 6302, 6502, 6604, 6802, 7002.

Documentation Requirements
Submit Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS) screens for Service Record Book (SRB) pages
Include Unit Punishment Book (UPB) if applicable
Provide detailed information on disciplinary and investigative actions
Ensure accuracy and completeness of Official Military Personnel Files (OMPF) and Master Brief Sheet (MBS)
Include pre-commissioning physical examination documents
Applicants must submit a 100-500 word essay explaining why the applicant wants to become a WO in the Marine Corps.

Basic Eligibility Requirements:
• Active-duty Status
• E-5 or above
• At least 8 years time in service
• No more than 20 years of active Naval service as of convening date of board
• High school graduate or service-accepted equivalent
• US Citizen
• 1st Class on most recent PFT & CFT

One of the following test scores:
• Min. El score of 110
• Min. SAT of 1000 (Combined math and verbal score); or
• Min. ACT score of 39 (Combined math and English score); or
• Min. ACT composite score of 22
