Who we are

The MF Division supports Marines and their families as they maintain readiness and navigate the challenges of military life. The families of Marines play a vital role in mission success by serving alongside their Marine. The diverse portfolio of programs assists Marines and families in strengthening their Total Fitness across four domains: social, spiritual, mental, and physical.

The MF Division partners with the Business and Support Services Division (MR) to manage Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS), which is comprised of exchange activities; morale, welfare, and recreation programs; and Marine and family services activities. MCCS programs promote esprit de corps among active duty members, a strong sense of military community, and a beneficial quality of life. Satisfaction with the military lifestyle and integration of the service member’s family into the military community also has a positive effect on the morale, recruitment, and retention of quality Marines.

Our vision is to bolster Force Preservation, resiliency, and combat effectiveness through adaptable, affordable and accessible programs and services that provide exemplary support to the Total Force.

MF Leaders Resource Guide presents key MF resources available at any time, for any issue — from new Marines and their families seeking acculturation classes to transitioning Marines looking ahead to the next stage in their career.

Marine Corps Total Fitness Strategic Plan: The plan outlines Marine Corps Total Fitness (MCTF), which integrates capabilities to prioritize prevention, leverage and connect existing resources, and develop and deliver capabilities in support of the different domains of total fitness.

Join the team. MCCS delivers services at more than 2,250 facilities with a staff of more than 12,000 employees worldwide.
