Who we are

The Semper Fit / Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience (WARR) Branch provides a system of integrated capabilities that support health, wellness, prevention, and performance across all domains of Marine Corps Total Fitness (MCTF).

Semper Fit/WARR programs enable the lethality of individual Marine warfighters, act as a force multiplier for Marine units, and enhance the well-being and quality of life for Marines and their families. These prevention-focused programs build readiness, develop capability, and expand resiliency through research-based and evidence-led programming. The Semper Fit/WARR systems are critical to a healthy active lifestyle and offer a high potential return on investment when comparing the cost of prevention to treatment. Semper Fit/WARR programs are more desirable, accessible, sustainable, and affordable throughout a lifetime when compared to after-the-fact therapies, surgeries, medicines, and tragedy. Programs include Warrior Athlete Readiness, which develops combat/life performance capability and durability; Warrior Athlete Resilience, which facilitates recovery, stress management, and the establishment of new higher-level performance baselines; and Life Athlete Readiness and Resilience, which provides opportunities for life-skill development, improved family health, and community connectedness. Semper Fit/WARR works to meet Marines and families where they work, train, live, and play and has an unmatched ability to improve health, wellness, prevention, and performance across all domains of MCTF. The program capabilities arm individual Marines’ weapons system and their family (crew served) in a way that takes them from Athens to Sparta and back in the most ready, lethal, and resilient manner possible.
