The SgtMaj/1stSgt Monitor holds the position of SgtMaj within the Enlisted Assignments Branch. This role involves overseeing assignments for the 8999 population, acting as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Branch Head of Enlisted Assignments, supervising all aspects related to enlisted personnel within the Enlisted Assignments Branch, and providing endorsement and review for all requests directed to the Head of the Enlisted Assignments Branch.
The Assistant SgtMaj/1stSgt Monitor serves as the section Administrative Chief and assists the Monitor in accomplishment of duties.
